Deleting your account

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This page is about Topf, the expense tracker published by Andrey Fedyukov. You can delete your account and everything stored with it in the app — or by email, if you no longer have the app.

In the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. The account is deleted right away; the app needs a connection for it. If you signed in with Apple, that grant is revoked at the same time.

If other people still use a book you share with them, the app first asks you to end the sharing, because the book is theirs too. Their own books come back to them untouched.

Without the app

Write to [email protected] and ask us to delete your account. Write from the email address of the account; if you are not sure which one it is — for example, because you signed in with Apple and hid your address — write anyway, and we will find the account together.

We delete the account and its data within a month at the latest and confirm it by email. If the address matches no account, we first write back with a question, so that nobody can delete a book that is not theirs.

What is deleted

Everything Topf keeps about you, on its server and at the service that processes its purchases:

  • the account: your email address and the identifiers of your sign-in method;
  • the book: transactions, accounts, categories, recurring transactions, planned payments, budgets, currency settings and notes;
  • your membership in a shared book and its invite codes;
  • the monthly count of voice inputs;
  • your record at RevenueCat, the service that processes purchases for Topf: the purchase and its link to your account.

What stays

Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: it belongs to your Apple ID or Google account. Cancel it in the subscription settings of your store.

The store — the App Store or Google Play — keeps its own record of a purchase under its own terms.

The copy of the book on your own devices stays there until you sign out or remove the app.

If you never had an account

Without an account, Topf keeps nothing about you on its server: the book exists only on your device, and removing the app removes it. A Plus purchase made without an account stays with RevenueCat under an anonymous identifier of the installation, with nothing that names you.
