Action Button and Control Center

Topf has two controls: Record by Voice opens the app and starts voice input, New Transaction opens a new transaction. Put either one where you reach it fastest.

  • iOS 18 or later
  • Topf from the App Store

The screens are drawn from iOS 27. On earlier versions some of them look a little different.

Action Button

On iPhone 15 Pro and later. Press and hold the Action Button, and Topf opens. It works with the iPhone locked too: once Face ID or your passcode unlocks it, Topf opens.

  1. Open the Action Button settings

Open Settings and tap Action Button.

  2. Choose a control

Swipe to Controls and tap Choose a Control…

  3. Pick Topf

Type Topf in the search field and tap Record by Voice. Prefer typing the amount? Choose New Transaction.

Control Center

On any iPhone with iOS 18. Open Control Center, and Topf is one tap away.

  1. Edit Control Center

Open Control Center: swipe down from the top right corner, or swipe up from the bottom edge on an iPhone with a Home button. Touch and hold an empty spot until the controls start to wiggle, then tap Add a Control at the bottom.

  2. Add Topf

Type Topf in the search field and tap the control you want. Drag it where you like, then tap an empty spot to finish.

Lock Screen

The two buttons at the bottom of the Lock Screen can be Topf instead of the flashlight and the camera.

  1. Customize the Lock Screen

Touch and hold the Lock Screen and tap Customize. Remove a button at the bottom with the minus, then tap the plus in its place.

  2. Choose Topf

Type Topf in the search field, tap the control, and tap Done.

If something is in progress. A press never throws away what you are typing: if a transaction is open with an amount in it, Topf only buzzes and keeps it.
